The title says it all and the official color is blue. October 3, 2011 is blue shirt day. Wear a blue shirt to symbolize that bullying needs to stop and you want to help stop it. So, submit pics (to escape-the-hate) of you wearing a blue shirt, not just on the 3rd, but all month. Feel free to have signs or other things in your pics or add a short description with it. It can say anything (related to bullying please). All pictures will be posted here as they are submitted and at the end of the month I will (attempt) to make a huge collage of all the pictures that link to all of your blogs.

Spread the word. Get friends involved. Get family involved. Submit pics of all of you wearing blue shirts.

Just because this is a USA thing doesn’t mean I don’t want pics from EVERYONE. Bullying is worldwide and the movement to stop it is too.

Let’s show Tumblr and the world that we are ready to start changing things. We can’t expect others to do it for us. We can’t say go here, go to him, talk to someone else, etc., etc.

It needs to start with us.
